Cretacolor Aqua Stics are water-soluble artists oil pastels that produce remarkably smooth strokes of pure, clean, gloss colour. They are made with the highest quality pigments to guarantee lightfast colours. Suitable for use on paper, cardboard, canvas, wood and leather as well as on all smooth surfaces, such as glass, mirror or metal.

Sticks are 8.5mm diameter x 100mm in length and available in tins of 10, 20 and 40 colours plus a wooden box set of 40 colours. Also available is the unique "metallic" set that contains 8 metallic colours plus permanent white and ivory black. Made from the finest raw materials, the pure stick of colour is wrapped in a thin layer of protective lacquer with no wood casing. Cretacolor Aquarelle Block

A unique painting/drawing tool from Cretacolor.

It is a watercolour block, which can be used for standard watercolour painting but is versatile enough to use for drawing by hand. The block measures 45 x 22 x 12mm and is equivalent to 12.5ml of paint. The large block form allows for easy pick-up and use by hand. The Aqua Bric is suitable for a variety of techniques including watercolour painting and drawing, sketching and drawing, sgraffito, blending and frottage. It can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, canvas and wood and will also stick to smooth surfaces like glass and plastic. Aqua Bric is exceptionally lightfast even when used as a watercolour and conforms to the three top lightfastness categories.

Cretacolor Marino Aquarelle Pencils

Cretacolor Marino watercolour pencils are fine Art quality, water-soluble pencils represent the next generation of colours produced in accordance with latest ASTM-D4303 specifically devised for the measurement and labelling for light-fastness (LF) scale from 1-5 (1 being the highest) which tests the exposure of colours to the equivalent of 100 years of museum lighting. All 36 Marino colours were rated at LF1 or LF2 for maximum lightfastness. Marino Aquarelle pencils will captivate the user with their brilliant colours, soft stroke and non-fading colours. All colours can be inter-mixed to produce numerous intermediate tones. The cedar 7.35mm barrell pencils are finished with a soft metallic blue lacquer and end dipped to indicate the colour of the 3.8mm colour strip.

Derwent Artbar

The Artbar is a triangular-shaped bar of highly pigmented, water-soluble colour with a high wax content providing the user with a consistent, smooth texture and soft and creamy colour.

The Artbar is perfect for creating a wide variety of marks and textures with the distinctive triangular shape allowing you to create different and more interesting marks than those you can make with round sticks. The high pigment load of the Artbar allows you to build up colour and layers to make a dense, thick texture and when used with water, the colour release makes the Artbar feel like it is melting in your hands. It is almost indistinguishable from paint when wet. The Artbar provides an opaque colour as opposed to the Inktense bars and is also non-permanent.

Derwent Aquatone

Derwent Aquatone is a solid stick of pure watersoluble colour. It is ideal for creating large splashes of colour and dramatic expressive watercolour originals.

The beauty of Aquatone is that every last piece of the material can be used. Aquatone contains 4 times more material than an ordinary watercolour pencil.

Derwent Inktense Pencils

Derwent Inktense pencils are an exciting range of 71 pure, vibrant, water-soluble ink pencils and outliner pencil used for pencil & wash techniques.

Inktense combines the brilliant intensity of pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. The possibilities are endless, the results stunning. Use dry to create strong, vivid tones then apply a light water wash to achieve a translucent, ink-like effect. Once dry, the colour will not wash out and can be worked over again with both soluble and non-soluble media. The hexagonal 8 ply (8mm diameter) wood casing has a 4mm water-soluble strip. The barrel is stained ink blue with colour coded end dip and distinctive angled metallic blue band. It is finished with a gold imprint detailing range, colour name and number.

Derwent Inktense Blocks

Derwent Inktense pencils are an incredibly versatile product, which, since their introduction, have extended the boundaries, concept and use of traditional pencils. Derwent have now produced a range of Inktense in block form. They have exactly the same characteristics as the Inktense pencils while increasing the range of possibilities that artists can use Inktense for.

Inktense blocks are available in 24 vibrant, translucent, ink-like colours. They are quick drying with very little bleed and the colour is permanent when dry, allowing it to be worked over with other media. Only a little water is needed to make the colour go a long way and the chunky 8mm square block makes it perfect to hold. The large 75mm long blocks allow large areas of colour to be laid down very quickly, encouraging a loose style while producing free and expressive marks.

Derwent Watercolour pencils are an exciting and and versatile colouring medium that can be used to produce an interesting variety of drawing and painting effects. The soft 3.5mm diameter colour strip incorporates quality pigments and thepurest fillers to produce a very water-soluble medium. Derwent Watercolour can be used wet or dry, on wet or dry paper, to achieve a wide variety of effects. The colours retain their full intensity however you use them. For sheer versatility, Derwent Watercolour is unmatched.
